4. What technology was used to develop the Framework?
- The majority of the Framework is in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Project plans are provided in two formats, MS Project and Excel. Both versions calculate the start and end date of each task automatically based on the task’s duration and predecessors, so if a change is made to one task, all subsequent tasks automatically adjust. Both versions generate Gantt Charts. Many clients will find that the Excel version serves their needs very well.
- Business Process Workflows are diagrammed using MS Visio. Final copies are provided in both Visio and PDF format.
- Many of the Framework’s Excel templates use sophisticated formulas and macros.
- Some of the surveys soliciting feedback from staff and/or constituents utilize SurveyMonkey.
